Qigong, (also spelled Chi Kung), is a powerful multiple level system of healing and energy work, originating over 7,000 years ago in China. It is the art and science of using energy, breathing techniques, gentle movements, and meditations with visualization to cultivate, activate, and work with your life energy Qi (Chi).
Qigong practice leads to better health and vitality and a more tranquil state of mind. At the very root, it promotes self-healing, restoring the body to its balanced original healthy form, shedding stress, pollution, and diseases. It is a spiritual practice free from any religious beliefs or ideology, that’s why it is suitable for anyone, no matter which religion or cultural background you are.
Zhong Yuan Qigong is a self-development and self-empowerment on all the levels – physical, energetic and spiritual. A person who feels harmony between himself and his environment is always successful whether on professional or personal level. Through Qigong practice he starts feeling better, he awakens and opens up for self-realization. And when the balance between the internal and external worlds is found, you can find unlimited potential to move forward.
In the First Level, we practice Basic exercises, which prepare the body for further energy practice and Main exercises, such as the Big Tree, Yang-Qi, Micro-Cosmic Orbit with the purpose of fast energy accumulation, refining of received Qi and balancing it in the body.
You will learn about how Qigong is based on the main elements of Chinese medicine and philosophy, and incorporates 3 main concepts:
1.Yin-Yang Concept – the Union of two opposite energies, which makes the base of everything in the Universe
2.Wu-Xing Theory – interaction of five Elements : Water – Wood – Fire – Earth – Metal (their correspondence with the energy of body’s organs)
3.Knowledge about acupuncture meridians and bioactive points of the …body
